Danielle received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and Master’s Degree in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. After completing school, she moved to Dallas, TX where she and her husband live and work.
Danielle specializes in emotional/sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief. Danielle utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Person-Centered therapy styles depending on her client’s need. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which works very well to treat any anxiety-based disorder including PTSD. She has gained education specifically treating addiction, dissociative disorders, and grief with EMDR.
Danielle has experience working with those dealing with addiction. She is passionate about helping individuals obtain sobriety and aiding family members in navigating their place in the recovery process. Danielle has worked to help reduce codependent behaviors in family members while empowering the individuals struggling addiction to learn coping skills to reduce the likelihood of relapse.
